Happy (ALMOST) Fall! In today's post, I wanted to share what are going to be my top picks for fall! During this season, I'm a huge fan of layering and also having a few statement pieces such as skirts to make your look pop, even in the colder months! I am hoping to post some more colder weather looks and do some different posts such as a room tour and maybe a makeup routine (if your interested) coming up in this next couple weeks. But for now... let's get into my top 5 fall favorites!
PATTERNED SKIRTS (camo, checkered, gingham, etc.)
I LOVE patterned skirts for fall! I think they are the perfect transitional piece that makes your look: paired with a basic top and some cute white sneakers! Both of these pictured are from Forever 21, and I will definitely be picking up one of these two for my next haul! Also the best part, are that these two are under $20 each! Can you say DEAL!?
COZY CARDIGANS (hooded, long, or short variations!)
I think we can all agree a cardigan is a staple in the fall season! I pair mine with some simple, ripped jeans and a cute tee (graphic or otherwise) and you've got an outfit that is warm, but put together at the same time! These two are also from Forever 21 and under $30! I think the best option for buying new season's clothes is to buy many different types of items that are less expensive, so that you can switch up your style more often! Check these two out!
BOOTIES (leather, suede, patterned, etc.)
Obviously, what is fall without booties! I love these new berry colored, suede ones I picked up for the season from Urban Outfitters, and I'm so excited to try them on with outfits when they come in the mail on Monday!! I think they would look amazing with multiple different colored sweaters and with some basic blue jeans! I also wanted to share these Blondo boots I had last year that are taupe and waterproof! which are perfect for winter! Booties are definitely a splurge in my wardrobe each year, but I think a good bootie is a staple for every, single outfit!
BUTTON FRONT WAFFLE TOPS (a must have in my wardrobe)
These tops are the best fall top EVER! These two have been my go-to for the past couple weeks as the weather has fluctuated and they literally go with everything! I love the simple ivory UO one to layer with necklaces and jeans of all colors and the rust one from AE is so pretty with dark wash jeans. I'm sure these will be an essential for you too!!
FLARE/ FRAYED JEANS (free people's are my favorites!)
I have absolutely become obsessed with these unique styles of jeans! Frayed/ fringe jeans as well as flare jeans have become a new trend for this upcoming autumnal season, and I'm here for it. I have just invested in these frayed Free People jeans (as pictured below), and I can already tell that they will be on repeat for fall! I also think flare jeans bring a little bit of style to every look, whether it's is for an event or even just a day out, and can be used in many different ways! Check these ones out & try the style out for yourself!
