I feel like I have been waiting for this post forever! It is finally time for me to reveal my surprise shoot with 2 other amazing bloggers, and 2 of the most talented photographers KC has to offer (and they are only getting started-watch out world;)) This shoot occurred in some of KC's most iconic locations- the Kansas City Public Library as well as the historic West Bottoms district, where this totally-pinteresty abandoned Phillips 66 gas station was found! I had the most fun time, and I can't wait for future shoots with this star team we have here!!

This shoot was in collaboration with two other bloggers- Caroline from @carolines.blog and Ashton from @ashtonleighblog, two of my personal friends and the cutest girls ever, may I add! The 2 amazing photographers are Kenedi Kelso from @kkelsophoto and Katie Lockyear from @ktlockyearphoto. Sidenote: They were the best to shoot with and made sure we were comfortable, confident, and got all the good angles (haha you know your good side;)) I absolutely adored being in this shoot and working with these insanely talented GIRL BOSSES. Below I will be linking Kenedi and Katie's portfolios and more info about their work, as well as a bit of each of the other blogger's pictures from this shoot!

Keep reading if you want to be WOWED, like I was!!

OUTFIT #1: Girly Trendsetter

I decided to name this outfit as above because I felt this look encapsulated the beauty of patterns like this gorgeous leopard, a major trend! As well as, the black OTK boots and faux fur jacket which added a girly touch. I topped off this outfit with a black floppy hat to pull all the black accents together. Overall, I LOVE how this turned out and these pictures were TOO GOOD not to include! BTW: both looks were shot by both ladies! So many wonderful locations in this.

I chose to wear this one to the KC library as I felt it had a classy feel and would fit perfect with the marble and expensive-looking inside of this iconic location. If your from KC, it's a must see and amazing for pictures inside (get a consent form though lol!).

OUTFIT #2: Retro Chic

AHH the outfit I have been waiting to wear since I found these pants! I absolutely love all things stars so these jeans screamed my name. I adore how the stars shone and paired perfectly with my white cropped henley. I actually took a few more shots in this red sweater also which I almost loved even more!! (stay tuned till the 4th of July- they'll for sure make another appearance). This look was very different for me, and was definitely a fashion statement, but I am so glad I decided to rock them.

This outfit paired with my platform sneaks was everythingg and the location of this vintage Phillips 66 shop was the most perfect shoot spot EVER. The blues, white, and red OH MY! LOCALS, please go to the West Bottoms and take all the pictures, your Instagram desires, at this historic destination!!
