AHH so excited for this new post! Today's entry is in collaboration with one of my amazing friend's Ashton from @AshtonLeighBlog. She is the sweetest person and ultimately was the person that inspired me to try my hand at creating a fashion blog!

So today's post, is all about our 2019 FASHION PREDICTIONS. I will be showing two outfits and if you head over to Ashton's blog, you can see the other two she chose! This is hopefully the first of a few collabs together, and I love how all of these shots turned out:)

OUTFIT #1// Platform Shoes!! and a classic black & white look...

Shoe Details: White Supergas 'Acot Linea' Platform Sneaker

MY OUTFIT:

Platform shoes, especially sneakers, are a trend I know will be very widespread in 2019! My first pair of platformed shoes were my favorite Steve Madden white espadrille shoes, and since then my obsession has only grown X 10. I paired this pair of white Supergas, I received for Christmas, with a pair of black mesh jeans and a black jean jacket that coordinated with my matching poof beanie I wore. Underneath the jean jacket, I chose a white classic Adidas shirt to add a cuter touch to the black and white combo outfit!

WHAT'S THE TREND?

Stay tuned over this next year, to follow along with my growing platform shoe collection (lol but so true). Platform shoes have been the rave across social media for the past year, so I am fairly confident that this trend will only grow in this New Year! Many of your favorite brands such as Converse and Nike have since come out with platform versions of their famous shoes like Chuck Taylor All Stars and Air Force Ones. The reason I love platform shoes are the added height they provide and the look they give to your outfits overall. Go try a pair, and I promise if you follow my account over this year, platforms will be a staple in my wardrobe!

OUTFIT #2// Studded Everything!!

OUTFIT DETAILS:

This is a close-up of the accessories featured in this complete studded outfit! These sunglasses from QUAY have studs all around the side, and the purse (which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE) from TopShop @ Nordstroms, has silver studs all across the front. My jeans as you can see in the picture below, are silver studded Levis up the side, and they are perfect for this 2019 trend!

WHAT'S THE TREND?

In this upcoming year, I predict that studs will be found on many of your favorite clothes, and even on many pairs of shoes. I can't wait to add to my closet, lots and lots of studs! My favorite items to have studs on are accessories as you can tell, and I have seen many high-fashion brands like Gucci and other brands from Nordstroms, have studs and details like them in 2018, so I expect much more this year. I hope to buy a pair of studded boots or slides, and maybe even another studded crossbody, because I have used mine everyday since I got it on Christmas. It's just that good!! Studs are in, so will you add them to your collection?! I know, I will;)
